I have been working at Homerton Hospital for 20 years as an out-of-hours GP receptionist. Our service was transferred to Homerton Hospital in 2019, and we were guaranteed the same pay as A&E receptionists. However, I am currently paid £11.20 per hour on a Sunday, whilst an A&E receptionist earns £25.25 per hour for a very similar role.

Despite our efforts to negotiate with management to improve our pay and conditions, we have faced continuous delays and excuses. To make matters worse, Homerton Management recently claimed they pay all their staff the London Living Wage, which is not true.
