Ensure Equal Access to Infrastructure for All Students at RV University and RV College of Engineering

Ensure Equal Access to Infrastructure for All Students at RV University and RV College of Engineering
The Issue
We are students who take great pride in being a part of a historic institution - the joint campus of RV University (RVU) and RV College of Engineering (RVCE). Unfortunately, there is a growing disparity in the distribution of resources between the two colleges, which is causing a rift in our academic community.
The facilities provided for RVU, a newly established entity of only two years, are significantly superior to those available for RVCE, the cornerstone of the university with a long-standing reputation for excellence. As students of RVCE, we fail to see the reasoning behind the blatant discrepancy, for we contribute as much to the university's fame and reputation.
Recently, a beautiful library was constructed on our campus. However, RVCE students, who form a substantial part of the student population, have been denied access to it, further promoting a division between the two student communities. This act perpetuates inequality and also denies access to resources that are crucial for our development.
The disparity in treatment, unfair distribution of resources, and discrimination based on college affiliation is drastically affecting our quality of education and is fostering a sentiment of resentment.
We believe that all students attending institutions on the same campus should be treated equally when it comes to accessing infrastructure and receiving a high-quality education. After all, the brand value of RVU today largely owes its existence to the hard work and achievements of RVCE graduates.
We are making this appeal to ask the management of RVU and RVCE to equally distribute resources and provide fair access to all students, regardless of their college affiliation. Now, it needs your support. Please sign this petition. Let’s take a stand for equality, a stand for education.
