The Bluebird Project (BBP), honoured with the task of restoring the beloved K7, dedicated countless hours and expertise to rebuild it to its condition as of January 4, 1967.

This iconic hydroplane, under the expertise and supervision of the BBP, was brought back with meticulous care akin to a labor of love. The BBP, driven by a passion to honour the legacy of the Bluebird K7, successfully accomplished this mandate, creating an artefact ready to inspire future generations.

However, following its handover to the Ruskin Museum, there have been concerns that the Bluebird K7 is no longer in the state it was entrusted. Such a deviation not only betrays the efforts of the Bluebird Project but also risks tarnishing an important chapter of our history.
