Ensure a Wholesome Life for Animals By Getting More Rights For Animals

The Issue

I know I might seem crazy to some people, but what I have to say is true. Animal Cruelty is a big problem. Yes, people have fought for animal rights before and there are hundreds of charities out there to help fund a supreme goal of equal rights, but I believe I can do more with that. Change.org has helped charities and people in general gain popularity on social media so that their views can be seen. It is a place where big movements have been created that have changed countries. Like, for example, in South Korea. There is a group very close to where I live that used Change.org to get South Korea to pass a bill stating that dogs would be prohibited from being consumed in South Korea with a small grace period. This is a big deal, South Korea is well known for their high amounts of canine consumption and because of Change.org, they now have a restriction on that.

I believe that I can make a very big difference, too. This being by starting a petition to call out certain big groups and ask them to make a difference. You nor I can make a big difference about this alone, but as a group and by gaining more attention through just 10 seconds of your time to sign this petition, we can. This is a real issue and I hope you can see that. Actually, to help you see that vision, here are some examples of abused dogs :

Harley is a one-eyed dog who suffered from years of abuse and neglect. From this she got many health issues including a diseased heart, broken tail, and deformed legs.

Susie is an eight-week-old pit bull mix who was set on FIRE and left to die after her owner. This specific owner did such things to this puppy as punishment for licking the face of her newborn baby. Susie gladly survived and was found ten days later after eating garbage and drinking from mud puddles.

Neo is a dog living in Arkansas who spent nearly five hundred days in a shelter after being severely abused. One of the worst parts about animal abuse is the amount of people that refuse to adopt them due to their past.

Echo is a dog who was used in a lab for animal testing and left blind and terrified by the scientists. It is illegal to experiment on humans, so why not defenseless dogs?

Bubby is a dog who was used as a "bait dog" and ended up being neglected by its previous owners.

Another big problem is poor or mass breeding. The biggest side effects of such cases are really disabling health issues. One example of this is Sassy. Sassy is a dog who was left with dwarfism, hip dysplasia, and other health issues due to bad breeding.

The, more better known, Sunnyside rescue dog was a dog who was rescued off the street at 10 months old after suffering life-threatening swelling from a sho string tied around his neck from birth. He also had 27 pellets in his body, most presumably means that he was shot at by his previous owner. After closer inspection, her was found to have been hit by a car.

I have been to countries where dogs roam the streets looking for food and shelter. There, they are treated as pests and kicked around like bags of sand in the middle of the road. What is worse, is that no one ever seems to care about them. People go to war because one person from their country gets killed in another, but there never seems to be a war about the 300 million animals killed for human consumption each year. Of those left, 200 million are stray.

It hurts me to say that not enough people care about these innocent lives. We need global action now! Stray animals deserve better treatment and protection from cruelty. By signing this petition, you can help be a reason for animals around the world having a good and wholesome life.

Animals deserve all the rights they can get, and now you have a chance to help them reach that climax! Just 10 seconds of your time is all it takes, one signature helps this cause tremendously! I can't tell you how much it would mean to me and how much support you are giving to help this cause.
