Recently Destiny Church has repeated their call for funding of their 'social programs', and it has been released that so far that our largest government Dept., the Ministry of Social Development, has so far given over $800,000 towards Destiny Programs.

Destiny Church has repeatedly shown that is whole heartedly against Homosexual, and Women’s, Rights and now it is time to say that we do not want our government funding, and endorsing, groups that treat others in such a manner.

What makes this worse is that the funding was to largely assist in Children’s Programs. Because these programs are run by Destiny Church, they will always carry the Church's message, teaching it to young people.

We, the below signed, believe that the New Zealand Government, should only provide funding to groups who follow the Bill of Rights, and do not belittle the rights of others in their community, and stop funding Destiny Church and similar organisations.
