Enough is Enough: Stop the Disrespect at Eastleigh Post Office
The Issue
For far too long, customers of the Eastleigh Post Office have been subjected to shocking levels of rudeness, arrogance, and hostility from some of the staff. This is not a one-time issue — dozens of people have complained online and in person, time and time again.
Yet nothing has changed. In fact, things have only gotten worse.
Each visit feels more unpleasant than the last — the staff seem to have grown even more dismissive, aggressive, and unprofessional.
Today, I walked out of that branch with my hands shaking, after yet another encounter filled with disrespect and hostility. No customer should ever feel humiliated or anxious simply for trying to post a parcel.
We have all had enough.
We are calling on Post Office Ltd and local management to take immediate action:
Conduct a full review of staff behaviour and management oversight at the Eastleigh branch.
Replace or retrain staff who repeatedly treat customers poorly.
Restore basic human decency and professionalism to a public service that this community relies on every day.
This is not just about bad manners — it’s about accountability.
Eastleigh residents deserve a Post Office where people are treated with respect, patience, and dignity, not contempt.
