What was the political agenda to have Joyce speak on the prevention of DV and family values?
Joyce is known to have abandoned his first family , spoken against vaccinations for HPV , is anti abortion and known for public drunkenness. He is not a role model for parenting or ‘proper’ homes and should never be a spokesperson for any issues concerning women . It was insulting to any person who has experienced Domestic Violence to watch Jennett not challenge Joyce on the rhetorical ‘proper’ families .
Domestic violence is a matter of life and death for women and kids. To have Joyce of all people discuss porn in the homes as a major trigger to DV was demeaning to women, superficial and offered nothing to the Australian people
Once again why Joyce ? Why not a woman who has worked for yrs in the field , a female MP or a victim of DV ?
