I have personally come across many youngsters who are addicted to vaping, and despite their treatments and therapies, they have not been able to escape this curse. The ease of procuring vaping devices makes it a nightmare for families striving to save their loved ones. I strongly believe it is worse than drugs.

Despite being declared illegal and facing a ban in India, vape devices are blatantly sold under the nose of law enforcement. These devices are as easily available as on a Pan Shop in cities like Bangalore and that too close to schools and colleges. A big question is who is enabling these sellers to conduct this illegal trade without being subjected to any consequences. Many individual sellers or a mafia diligently working on spoiling the youth of India. This availability is devastating our younger generations. The sweet fragrances of these devices make them undetectable, allowing usage at home and even in schools. As they are often made to smell pleasant, they do not arouse suspicion when used, yet the impact is dire. 

Vaping is causing both physical and mental harm to our youth. The addiction renders them incapacitated when deprived of it, often leading to a vicious cycle of dependency and withdrawal symptoms. Vaping devices are predominantly made in China, and their presence in India is a profound concern, as this infiltration is spoiling our youth and tarnishes our society's future.

The environment that allows these devices to be so easily accessible needs to change. We urge law enforcement agencies and government bodies to take stringent measures against the illicit sale of vaping devices. Regular inspections of retail outlets, rigorous enforcement of the existing laws, and heavy penalties for defaulters must be instated and upheld.

Furthermore, raising awareness about the hazards of vaping among parents, educators, and the youth is crucial. Educational institutions should introduce programs that inform students about the real dangers of vaping, comparable to traditional anti-drug initiatives.
