Like most people my heart shatters every time I hear of an innocent child being harmed by a pedophile. I always say I wish there was something I can do and up until now I’ve done the same thing as everyone else and sat back ignorantly continuing my life as children as young as newborns have been assaulted. The pain and suffering both mentally, emotionally, and physically that these children endure is unimaginable for most.  As someone who deeply cares about justice, and finally making a change.I firmly believe that those who choose to inflict such horrendous abuse on a child deserve to experience the same suffering. 

The current legal consequences of imprisonment or even death are just not enough to instill true fear in these criminals. Our laws should reflect the severity of the crime committed. Law enforcement and legal systems need to enact a more stringent punishment for these heinous acts against children. It's time for our society to adopt measures that ensure these individuals receive penalties that match the gravity of their offenses. 

Although my proposal may seem drastic to some, it is driven by a passionate desire for justice and child protection. I urge the residents of North Port and beyond to join me in demanding that our legal system employs torture as an effective deterrent against pedophilia within our community. Let us stand together in ensuring that those who cause unimaginable pain to the most vulnerable among us pay the ultimate price for their actions.
