We wish that Disneyland Paris enforces the resorts smoking rules in Parc Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios for the comfort of all its Guests.

The present lack of enforcment is confusing for Guests and Cast Members alike.  The rules about smoking in the Parks are clearly stated on the Disneyland Paris website

“For everyone’s comfort and convenience, special areas have been set up for those who wish to smoke. Please smoke only in these designated areas. You can find these areas by asking a Cast Member in the Parks or on a Resort map available from the ticket windows in the Disney Parks and at City Hall in Disneyland Park.”

Unfortunatly this rule is not being enforced by all the resorts Cast Members.

When someone smokes a cigarette, the smoke from the burning tip is released into the air. So is the smoke they breathe out. Smoke can stay in the air for up to 2.5 hours, it may still be there even if you can’t see it or smell it.

Passive smoking can damage a persons body because secondhand smoke contains more than 4,000 chemicals, many of which are irritants and toxins, and some of which are known to cause cancer. Breathing in secondhand smoke is particularly harmful for children.

Frequent exposure to other people’s smoke can increase the risk of lung cancer, even for non-smokers. Passive smoking also increases the risk of coronary heart disease. Coronary heart disease can cause a heart attack, angina (chest pain) and heart failure. It also increases the risk of stroke.

Please Disneyland Paris for the comfort and safety of all your Guests and Cast Members isn't it about time you enforce your own smoking rules.
