This issue hits close to home for everyone in our community, especially for those of us who experience the incessant train horn blaring, which seriously takes away from our quality of lives. Currently, trains blow their horns continuously as they traverse through our peaceful town, not just at intersections. It is beyond necessary to enforce strict adherence to horn usage rules.

Excessive noise from trains not only disrupts the peace, but also poses serious health risks. Studies have shown that chronic exposure to high levels of noise can lead to health issues like stress, sleep disorders, and even cardiovascular diseases (source: World Health Organization).

Our town, our children, our elderly individuals – we all deserve to live and grow in a noise pollution-free environment. To enable this, we are petitioning for the train authorities to adhere strictly to the existing horn rules, using them sparingly and only at intersections.
