As a resident of our beautiful and well-maintained Palm Coast City I am deeply frustrated by the incessant noise disturbances caused by unmaintained or modified vehicles. These vehicles, with their faulty mufflers, backfiring exhausts, or loud music systems, perpetually disrupt our peace and detract from the quality of life we strive to maintain in our community. 

The noise pollution not only causes disturbance but also poses serious health risks such as stress and sleep disturbance which further leads to cognitive impairment in children and heart disease in adults (source: WHO reports.) Cities worldwide are acknowledging these adverse implications and our city should follow suit.

The proposed solution? Implement comprehensive noise ordinances that prohibit loud vehicles within city limits and  to enforce the vehicle owners to repair and maintain their vehicle in timely manner.
