Elder Abuser and Convicted Felon ALLAN THOMAS ROCKWELL has been released on HOUSE ARREST and now, sporting an ANKLE BRACELET, is currently RESIDING in a BUSINESS in a HISTORIC DOWNTOWN BUILDING.   YES, FRIENDS OF SONORA, ALLAN THOMAS ROCKWELL IS NOW RESIDING, in the storage area of the retail store located at 67 S. Washington St., Sonora, CA 95370.  This building is owned by DENISE MOURGES, a resident of Colorado, who has several for "For Rent" signs around town for Commercial Rentals. The owner is VERY AWARE that her tenant, Heather Stone Schoon has allowed this FELON to reside in LOVE COUTURE, her business to violate CITY OF SONORA ZONING CODES.  Many residents of Tuolumne County were shocked that he has been released and that a FELON has been allowed to live in a COMMERCIAL BUILDING.  

It is completely unfair to the victims of Mr. Rockwell who are now being further victimized by his presence in their downtown shopping and recreation area. 

THE CITY OF SONORA, THE SUPERVISOR OF DISTRICT 1, AND THE SONORA PROBATION DEPARTMENT need to take action to SECURE THE PEACE AND SAFETY OF THE COMMUNITY and stop the VICTIMIZATION of Elder - Disabled - Decorated - Veteran - Uncle, PATRICK OLIVER, by ENFORCING THE ZONING CODES BEING VIOLATED.   

The community members signing this petition are demanding that THE CITY OF SONORA enforce the zoning codes, appropriately hold the Building Owner DENISE MOURGES and the Business Owner HEATHER STONE SCHOON responsible for violating such codes, and finally, to relocate ALLAN THOMAS ROCKWELL to serve out his sentence in an actual residence far from Downtown Sonora so that he may be far from the place where his victim PATRICK OLIVER (Rick) shops and eats on a frequent basis with family and friends.  

It should be further noted that the FELON "ROCKWELL" should certainly not be housed next door to a GUN RETAILER (Sierra Outfitters), or a YOGA STUDIO (Yoga Loft) where elderly women are hoping to attend safely.  This is the unfortunate current situation in which the community of Sonora has been placed, and this needs to be addressed now. 

TO THE CITY OF SONORA RESIDENTS AND EMPLOYEES, TUOLUMNE COUNTY RESIDENTS WHO ARE PATRONS OF THE HISTORIC DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES, OR ANY PARTY INTERESTED IN JUSTICE:                                                                Please sign this petition if you wish the City of Sonora and the TC District 1 Supervisor, to take the necessary action to require the Sonora Probation Department to relocate ALLAN THOMAS ROCKWELL to either a residence outside the HISTORIC DOWNTOWN DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF SONORA or BACK TO A JAIL CELL where he cannot be a danger to others while SERVING OUT HIS JUST DUE SENTENCE.
