We, the people of New York, are very worried about youth homelessness. There are 30% more young people who need safe places to live, food, and help. This is not okay! ( According to RUNAWAY AND HOMELESS YOUTH )

Every year, countless young people find themselves without a safe place to call home-many escaping abusive households, aging out of foster care, or struggling economically. These vulnerable youth face substance abuse, mental health challenges, and setbacks in their education. Yet, the resources and support systems available to them fail to addressing their needs. This is a crisis we cannot ignore.

• Add $500,000 to help youth shelters and services.

Nothing is possible without funding from the city to finally make a change. The priorities in government spending are all wrong and not beneficial at all towards the innocent youth.
