Animal welfare is the term used to describe the level of well-being that an animal experiences, which includes how well the animal is adjusting to their current circumstances and environment. Some people think that human interactions with animals have an impact on animal welfare and that it is our responsibility to ensure that all animals are handled properly, compassionately, and with respect. While animal rights are the prohibition on using animals for research, testing, entertainment, or clothing. Animal rights are moral precepts based on the conviction that non-human animals deserve the freedom to live their lives as they like, free from human interests.

     Animal rights and welfare are crucial because so many animals worldwide suffer as a result of being used for science, entertainment, food, and other purposes. Just like people, all animals deserve to live happy lives. Although it is our world, it is also their world. So, this planet belongs to all creatures living on it. The aim of the animal rights movement is to end exploitative businesses and practices by placing animals "beyond use" by humans. Animals have rights. As individuals, it is our responsibility to be their voice. Respecting animal welfare allows us to balance out natural preservation. Every creature has the right to live without suffering from human oppression, cruelty, enslavement, exploitation, and abuse. 

    After knowing their welfare and rights, here are some ways to protect animals; 

1. "Don't be a loser, stop the abuser," 

  Animals have the right to roam freely. Start rethinking the ideas that they should only be used for entertainment, food, and clothing. They deserve respect in order to live their lives without pain, abuse, or mistreatment. 

2. Make our world a better world for everyone 

    Save the environment to save lives, not just those of people, but also those of animals. Simple trash, such as plastics and other materials, can be an enemy that harms them and can even kill them. Being surrounded by trash can cause an ecosystem to become contaminated since it can be a barrier for animals to run, swim and even fly. 

3. Be a lover 

     Considering that you are a lover of these beautiful creations of God, why not adopt them and treat them with respect? at least play your part as a kind person, not an abuser. Animals are unable to speak for themselves and for that reason it is our responsibility to be their voice and provide for their needs.

    Hopefully, the change will quicken as people gain a better understanding of animals and the pain they go through at the hands of humans.
