"1.6 Billioin Rounds Of Ammo For Homeland Security? It's Time For A National Conversation" - Forbes Magazine
"This past summer a group of Palestinians and Israelis came to Plum Village, the practice center where I live in southern France, to learn and practice the arts of deep listening and loving speech. (Around 1,600 people come to Plum Village each summer from over a dozen countries to listen and to learn how to bring peace and understanding to their daily lives.)… When a person spoke, they refrained from using words of blame, hatred, and condemnation. They spoke in an atmosphere of trust and respect. Out of these dialogues the participating Palestinians and Israelis were very moved to realize that both sides suffer from fear. They appreciated the practice of deep listening and made arrangements to share what they had learned with others upon returning to their home countries...We recommended that the Palestinians and Israeli talk about their suffering, fears, and despair in a public forum that all the world could hear. We could all listen without judging, without condemning in order to understand the experience of both sides. This would prepare the ground of understanding for peace talks to occur." - Thich Nhat Hanh
He and Thomas Merton were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by MLK (The Athenians created democracy where the “demos” or people rule. They had ongoing courtyard debates and at the end they would all vote, the one who didn’t participate were called “idiotus”. Where are our modern day debates? What does a National Conversation look like, and why does it need to end? Acts 17 says, “All the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas.” Could centralized help our nation’s divide? All grievances could be addressed.)
“Recently we learned that our governments working in concert have created a system of worldwide mass surveillance, watching ever thing we do. Great Britain’s George Orwell warned us of the danger of this kind of information. The types of collection in the book, microphones, and video cameras, tvs that watch us are nothing compared to what we have available today. We have sensors in our pockets that track us everywhere we go. Think about what this means for the privacy of the average person. A child born today will grow up with no conception of privacy of all. They’ll never know what it means to have a private moment to themselves an unrecorded, unanalyzed thought. And that’s a problem, because privacy matters. “ – Edward Snowden 2013 Christmas message
"When it gets down to having to use violence, then you are playing the system’s game. The establishment will irritate you – pull your beard, flick your face – to make you fight. Because once they’ve got you violent, then they know how to handle you. The only thing they don’t know how to handle is non-violence and humor." - John Lennon
(avoid CONPLAN 3502, NORAD’s plan that would impose martial law in the event of a national emergency that would divide the US into ten different regions with appointed lieutenants for each one—i.e. a full blown police state)
This is a call for an immediate moratorium on:
1) depleted uranium
2) white phosphorus
3) torture (enhanced interrogation techniques and outsourced torture)
4) domestic, black-ops, counter intelligence (COINTELPRO) operations against non-violent organizers
5) to have Prevention of an Arms Race in Outer Space (PAROS) resolutions
6) to end our agenda for full-spectrum dominance
7) and to create green jobs by incentivizing green, self-sustaining technology
FSD/space superiority/World Domination vs. PAROS: Full-Spectrum Dominance (FSD) is the Pentagons public aspirations to have complete control and dominance over land, sea, air, space and information (media, data - Operation Mockingbird, Information Operations Roadmap). The DoD emphasizes they will operate “alone or with allies” to achieve this (see Joint Vision 2020, Vision for 2020, Strategic Masterplan FY06 and Beyond, defense.gov). “Space superiority” or the ability to operate in, from and through outer space is a leading aspect in achieving FSD. Whoever owns space, owns the ground below it, it is the final military high ground in our global, asymmetric warfare. The US owns 95% of the world’s military satellites (Center for Defense Information) and has 2/3 of the space turf. Global Strike capabilities that can hit any place on the planet within 15 minutes of a given command are some of the aspirations. Twenty foot by one foot in diameter tungsten (DU?) rods could be launched from outer space to Earth, hitting with the impact of a small nuclear weapon. Space Based Lasers could strike terrestrial targets silently with a huge, invisible beam from an orbiting chemical laser. This is why 177 Nations are against these ideas and call for a Prevention of an Arms Race in Outer Space (PAROS) resolution. They fear it will cement US hegemony (forever), which has at least 700 bases in at least 130 nations, outspending the next 17 countries combined in military expenditures (TIME Magazine). This will also create a lot of problems for commercial satellites, due to the fact that there is already a tantamount of space junk in the orbits, flying at speeds of up to several times faster than a bullet. This has caused damage and impact to even returning shuttles. A space war would cause millions of more small, tiny pieces of space junk. A nuclear satellite has already fallen into orbit spreading a few pounds of plutonium throughout the atmosphere (SNAP-9A). One study showed it to be linked to the many cancers we have today (the US has exploded half of the 2000 nuclear missiles that were fired in and on the planet, quarter million “atomic veterans,” majority Gulf War 1 vets with Gulf War Syndrome, etc.) Our current, “capstone” military template, Strategic Master Plan FY06 and Beyond, states we will further our nuclear capabilities and that we must become a full spectrum space combat command. This will be the most expensive program humans have ever conducted. Right now there are expected to be thousands of more drones in US skies (with “only” –as of now—nonlethal weapons). There are things in the working like the Gorgon Stare that has multiple cameras that can surveillance entire cities. There are drones in the making that can stay in the sky for up to a year. "Clear Eyes" spy satellites can see objects as small as a base ball. A full shell of global strike capabilities directed by reconnaissance satellites like a giant web-like, spherical, Cartesian plane scanning every coordinate of the globe is within human reach. A Scanner Darkly, Minority Report, and Brazil are some prophetic cinematic stories. The dystopia that was pictured decades ago like 1984 and Fahrenheit 451, looks a lot different than today.
Obama is attacking 7 nations as we speak, he’s sending US Army teams to 35 African countries, basically the entire continent. Like any president it's full-spectrum dominance all the way through. We have over 1000 military bases in 170 nations (out of 195ish), 243 military interventions in 72 nations since WWII--DU firing drones included.
COINTELPRO: The FBI’s COunter INTELligence PROgram started in the 50s and "ended" in the 70s, upon the leaking of the COINTELPRO papers and the Church Committee’s Congressional hearings. The initial reasoning for its creation was to target any personnel who posed a threat to our government’s power or in their words “national security” (seemingly hypocritical considering it’s believed provocateurs were planted in the sanitation march King was working on). Groups like the Communist Party USA, KKK, the Mafia, Nation of Islam (NoI), Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), Socialist and Women’s organizations, Native American and Puerto Rican movements, and especially the Black Panther Party for Self Defense (BPP) were targets. The FBI labeled the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) whom Martin Luther King, Jr. directed, a “hate group.” The Entire New Left were watched, targeted and neutralized, millions of people watched, thousands put on “enemy lists” (intelligence.senate.gov “Church Committee Hearings”). About 30 Panthers were murdered due to COINTELPRO operations in just a few years. Over 400 Native American causalities occurred during this era as well. (The FBI denied 1st Amendment rights, used provocateurs, framed, blackmailed, harassed, assassinated people, used disinformation, terrorism, goon squads, etc.) Even Ernest Hemingway, Jean Seberg, Malcolm X, Ted Kennedy, Eleanor Roosevelt, Howard Zinn, Albert Einstein and Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. were targets. A letter was sent to King to try to get him to commit suicide. It is largely assumed our government tried to kill one of our nation’s most honored heroes. According to the House Select Committee on Assassinations it’s probable that agencies within the USG helped to murder JFK, and a Memphis Court case said it’s factual that agencies within the USG aided in the assassination of MLK. The King family won a small symbolic amount. Another “Black Messiah”, to use FBI terminology, that was neutralized was a young, yet very prominent, aspiring, non-violent revolutionary named Fred Hampton. It is known COINTELPRO still exists today under a different name, apparent vindication of this being Leonard Peltier, Mumia Abu-Jamal, Assata Shakur , being main COINTELPRO victims (all still in jail or marked with a bounty), others include Pete O’Neal, Geronimo Pratt, Judi Bari, etc. There were 100+ political prisoners in America pre 9/11/01 according to a piece on Harvard’s webpage and an Encyclopedia of Human Rights. The government obviously claims, like any government, that there are no political prisoners.
Fred Hampton: Hampton was a chairman for the Black Panthers (former leader in the NAACP), was assassinated in his bed next to his pregnant fiancé early in the winter morning only a year and a half after Martin Luther King, Jrs.’ death, whom Hampton was an admirer of. Ralph Abernathy and Jessie Jackson gave a eulogy at Hampton’s funeral. He was extraordinary at uniting poor people and college students, he got Chicago street gangs to stop fighting, and even motivated and employed the homeless to work on the programs Hampton started like, the free medical clinics for the community and the Free Breakfast Program that feed thousands of children every day (this was the thing the FBI said they were most afraid of, not their right to bear arms.) Everything the Panthers did was legal; they won 95% of their court cases. “White power to white people, black power to black people” was one of their sayings. Fred Hampton Jr., Hampton’s son, survived the incident and was framed for arson in 1993 for his work in the Uhuru Movement.
Torture: The US has a long history in torture. From slavery and genocide of indigenous peoples to Project Paper Clip after WWII, from the School of Americas to cold war relics like Saddam Hussein (whom US sold chemicals to, bubonic plague, anthrax , etc.) to right wing militia groups drilling little boys full of holes and FRAGO 242, up onto “rebels” (Al Qaida affiliates) in Libya/Syria, (etc.) the US has trained and backed dictators like Pinochet, Suharto, and the Shah of Iran, some of the world’s worst human rights abusers. Even former Nazis like Klaus Barbie were on the CIA pay role. He was caught by French Nazi Hunters directing concentration camps in Bolivia (800 scientists, 4000 Nazis in total were hired by the CIA during “Operation Paper Clip”). During the Iran Contra Affair it was found that Regan was pushing cocaine to fund terrorists behind Congress’ oversight, Reagan’s “secret government”, aiding “the enemy” Iran, etc. The School of Americas trains rape and has caused a chainsaw massacre, to the war on terror, where over 100 PUCs (people in US custody) have been tortured to death, agencies within the USG have been using torture. Wikileaks uncovered the US was funding right wing militias who on one report used a power drill to torture a six-year-old. The term “enhanced interrogation techniques” was a term the Nazis used. The US and its alleys hung Japanese for water boarding. The US has conducted “covert action” in over 70 Nations since WWII. We backed pro-Hitler fascists in Greece, S. Korea, Vietnam, etc. Extraction of teeth and nails, and boiling water, broken glass, starved rats, etc. are all things our dictators put into people‘s orifices. One wonders who the greatest bulwark to creating a world of relative peace really is. John Yoo, has implied it could be necessary to crush the testicles of a small child. He compares these torture laws to a speed limit, saying it’s okay to go a little over it. “F**k a PUC” and “smoke a PUC” are slang terms used. On the topic of slang, “shake and bake,” illegal white phosphorus attacks are also used.
Depleted Uranium (DU):Our United States military and NATO forces are currently using a dense metal known as depleted uranium which works incredibly well for piercing armor (18 other nations also have it in their arsenal, most were sold DU by the US). It is a byproduct of uranium used for creating nuclear power and weapons. However, when used it fragments into pieces the size of 0.1 microns—so small that when inhaled it enters into people’s DNA most likely causing horrible mutations, cancers and birth defects. It also contaminates the ground, food, water and air where it is used. Over 100 American vets were hit with these munitions (by friendly fire) in Operation Desert Storm, where we used under 400 tons of it (there have been over 10,000 Desert Storm vets who have died since their return from that war, some have been natural causes). In Operation Enduring Freedom we used more than seven times the amount of DU as in the Gulf War (3000+ metric tons, as some sources report) and more so in populated areas.
DU is genotoxic (causes cancer and mutations) as a UN Institute for Disarmament Research report states and the National Center for Biotechnology Information has concluded. There have been huge landslide votes in the UN and European Parliament (136 to 5 & 491 to 18, respectively) to stop using it. CNN has reported it may be a war crime, and it is suggested that it breaches many treaties, including the Geneva Conventions. Fallujah, Iraq’s birth defects are worse than those reported in Hiroshima and Nagasaki according to a prominent medical journal, The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. Even the U.S. Army Environmental Policy Institute says it can cause “significant medical consequences” due to “both chemical and radiological risks.” Today, the RAND Corporation and other DoD agencies deny the severe significance of depleted uranium use, a seemingly contradiction as Russ Feingold pointed out in a Christian Science Monitor article.
Green Energy: If this technology was heavily invested in and incentivized human beings could save themselves from the certain disaster that is coming over our horizon. The planet has just recently hit 400ppm of CO2 in the atmosphere. NASA says life as we know it will die at 350ppm of CO2. A farmer in Wisconsin has grown a million pounds of food on just a couple of acres using hydroponics. Reuters reported Germany’s solar power created 22 gigawatts of electricity per hour, equal to 20 nuclear power plants at full capacity. The University of Massachusetts at Amherst Economics Department published a study on US employment effects on military and domestic spending and found more jobs would be created on home weatherization, health care, education, a rail system, etc. than on military ones.
"JILL STEIN: Not at all. No. Voting very much matters. But, you know, really important to vote for what's going to help us. And not to make these sort of lesser evil compromises. I think it's really important to change the language here because what we call lesser evil, you know, we need to think of it in terms of what it really is. It is a system of suicide, homicide, genocide, biocide, ecocide. It's not okay for us, our families, our children, the people close to you and you yourself. There is a timeline that's been pretty well established now by the science around climate change. Civilization, as currently constituted, will not exist as we know it in 2050.
So we have a decade maybe to get this together. It's a real motivating factor now I think for people to walk away, to get up and walk away from this very abusive political system. It's like breaking up with an abusive relationship, recognizing that this partner you've had an incredible attachment to and hopes for and dreams for your whole lifetime, that it doesn't work. You know, they're not okay. They're going to drive you to the grave. It's time to stand up and walk away." - Jill Stein, Green Party USA (Presidential Candidate)

During the Nuremberg Trials after WWII, it was decided that the kingpin war crime was a war of aggression or preemptive war, like the one Bush and Blair were responsible for. Eisenhower, a five-star general in the US Army and former President of the US has said not to listen to anyone who speaks of preemptive wars because, essentially, Adolf Hitler invented the idea. Eisenhower is the one who coined the term the "military industrial complex" and warned of a military and scientific elite during his farewell address. “Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry” can defend against this he proclaimed. It's reported that he once said, "God help this nation if someone sits at this desk who doesn't know as much about the MIC as I do." The term was originally going to be military-congressional-industrial complex.
"Enhanced interrogation techniques" was a term used by the Nazis.
As one Nazi recounted during Nuremberg:
"Why, of course, the people don't want war," Goering shrugged. "Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece. Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship."
"There is one difference," I pointed out. "In a democracy the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare wars."
"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."
(Plus, Congress can be ignored (Iran Contra Affair) and they are all bought by their constituency—corporations)
"What no one seemed to notice," said a colleague of mine, a philologist, "was the ever widening gap, after 1933, between the government and the people. Just think how very wide this gap was to begin with, here in Germany. And it became always wider. You know, it doesn’t make people close to their government to be told that this is a people’s government, a true democracy, or to be enrolled in civilian defense, or even to vote. All this has little, really nothing, to do with knowing one is governing.
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, little by little, to being governed by surprise; to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if the people could not understand it, it could not be released because of national security. And their sense of identification with Hitler, their trust in him, made it easier to widen this gap and reassured those who would otherwise have worried about it.
How is this to be avoided, among ordinary men, even highly educated ordinary men? Frankly, I do not know. I do not see, even now. Many, many times since it all happened I have pondered that pair of great maxims, Principiis obsta and Finem respice—‘Resist the beginnings’ and ‘Consider the end.’ But one must foresee the end in order to resist, or even see, the beginnings. One must foresee the end clearly and certainly and how is this to be done, by ordinary men or even by extraordinary men? Things might have. And everyone counts on that might.”
(Consider the income gap today in the world of 1% owning 40% of wealth and the bottom 50% owning only 1% of wealth, also what our "capstone" military template says, Vision for 2020, about have and have-nots, as well as our National Intelligence Council’s latest reports.)
A middle-class adult in Finland owns $122 for every billion dollars of his or her nation's wealth. In Canada it's $13. In the U.S. it's 60 cents. Only middle-class adults in China and India earn less. Higher taxes on U.S. corporations could help redress the discrepancy.
"In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba." - ABC News
"After four weeks of testimony and one hour of deliberation, the jury in the wrongful-death case found that Loyd Jowers as well as ''others, including governmental agencies'' had been part of a conspiracy. The jury awarded the King family the damages they had sought: $100, which the family says it will donate to charity." - NY Times
"There is abundant evidence of a major high level conspiracy in the assassination of my husband, Martin Luther King, Jr. And the civil court’s unanimous verdict has validated our belief. I wholeheartedly applaud the verdict of the jury and I feel that justice has been well served in their deliberations. This verdict is not only a great victory for my family, but also a great victory for America. It is a great victory for truth itself. It is important to know that this was a SWIFT verdict, delivered after about an hour of jury deliberation. The jury was clearly convinced by the extensive evidence that was presented during the trial that, in addition to Mr. Jowers, the conspiracy of the Mafia, local, state and federal government agencies, were deeply involved in the assassination of my husband."
"Because he took on those forces, powerful economic forces that dominated politics in this land, they
killed him. He was killed because he could not be stopped. He was killed because they feared that half a
million people would rise in revolution in the capitol of this country, and do what Mr. Jefferson said
needed to be done every 20 years, to cleanse this land. This land has not been cleansed. This nation has
not faced the problems that Martin Luther King, Jr. died trying to face and confront. They still exist
today, the forces of evil, the powerful economic forces that dominate the government of this land and
make money on war and deprive the poor of what is their right, their birthright. They still abound and
they rule." - William Pepper
"We heard that the FBI attempted to destroy one of our greatest leaders in the field of civil rights, and then replace him with someone of the FBI's choosing.
From the evidence the committee has obtained, it is clear that the FBI for decades has conducted surveillance over the personal and political activities of millions of Americans. Evidently, no meeting was too small, no group too insignificant to escape their attention. It did not seem to matter whether the politics of these Americans were legal or radical or whether the participants were well known or obscure. It did not matter whether the information was intimate and personal. The FBI created indexes, more commonly called enemy lists, of thousands of Americans and targeted many of the Americans on these lists for special harassment." - (Sen. Walter Mondale, US Senate Church Committee (1975)
"One of the documents that was given to me by one of these researchers was a CIA document that had a stamp on it that said somewhere at the top there “must a Negro who is clean,” who can step into the vacuum of chaos once Dr. King is exposed or assassinated." - Cynthia McKinney, former Congresswoman

FEDs steal 9 trillion:
DoD steals 2.3 trillion:
Pedophilia and rape are rampant in the Pentagon:
Many hundreds of crooked border patrol cops have been caught within the last few years smuggling cocaine into the states, John Kerry has gone on record (on video) saying how Reagan helped push cocaine to fund the Contras in Nicaragua.
Dennis Kucinich is on the record (video of Congressional investigations) getting officials to admit we lost ten thousand to 15 thousand shoulder to air rockets in Libya, and that we pay the Taliban hundreds of millions of dollars every year to not attack certain strategic sites in Afghanistan. The “rebels” we backed in Libya flew Al Qaida flags over US embassies. Many US corporations funded Adolf Hitler’s war. Many US doctors helped German Nazi eugenics programs before they took off. Henry Ford was awarded by Hitler the highest award a foreigner could receive. Supreme Court cases found several US corporations guilty of aiding Hitler. General Smedley Butler uncovered a conspiratorial coup by corporations like Du Pont to have a fascist takeover of the US, he was to mobilize 10,000 US troops in the capital, but he exposed the plan.
