In 2022 Glenn Youngkin signed the bill HB1239 into law which allows local governments to stop charging Virginians an annual tax on their vehicles.

The taxation on Americans is out of control, especially in Virginia. On top of that, the cost of virtually everything in our lives increasing day by day. It's time we fight back and remove as many frivolous taxes as we can and put our money back in our pockets not political coffers.
