As a student in Mobile County Public School System (MCPSS), I find the clear bag policy will be an unnecessary burden. This policy, which requires all students to use clear bags for their belongings, is not only inconvenient but also invades our privacy. Students deserve the right to carry their personal items without exposing them to everyone.

Moreover, there is no substantial evidence that clear bags significantly enhance school safety. According to a study by the National Center for Education Statistics, schools with strict security measures do not necessarily report lower incidents of violence or theft compared to those with more lenient policies.

It's time for MCPSS to reconsider this ineffective and intrusive policy. Please sign this petition if you believe in protecting student privacy!
