End the Genocide in Palestine

End the Genocide in Palestine
The Issue
My personal ancestral history is married by the horrors of colonial genocide. My ancestors fled from it in Ireland, only to become part of another genocide against First Nations people in British North America. Now, I stand witness to yet another genocide, this time against Palestinians. World leaders, including my own liberal government, are complicit as they allow these atrocities to continue under the guise of Israeli self-defense.
According to a report by Human Rights Watch (HRW), Israeli authorities are committing crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution. The HRW report states that Israel has pursued an intent to maintain the domination of Jewish Israelis over Palestinians across Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT). This systemic oppression and state-led violence have resulted in countless innocent lives lost.
This petition calls for an immediate end to this ongoing genocide and demands accountability for those responsible. We urge world leaders and international organizations like United Nations (UN) not just condemn these actions but take decisive steps towards ending this cycle of violence.
We cannot stand idle while history repeats itself with new victims. It's time we all raise our voices against injustice regardless where it occurs or who perpetrates it.
Please sign this petition today – demanding ceasefire is not enough! Just as everyday people demanded sanctions from South Africa, the time has come for sanction against Israel. All is not as isreal and the United States would have us believe as the these credible sources, many burying the lead have reported. If you are in any doubt please click on the following links
