This world is getting more miserable by the day - racial and gender injustices, wars all over the damn place, corrupt politicians and leaders choke holding countless innocent people’s livelihoods for their own selfish gratification.

The arts are meant to be our escape, a sign of hope. ANIME is ART! But, no… we can’t even have that can we? No, of course not. Because our money is all that matters to the selfish, narrow minded swine running things from up in the nosebleed section. Letting go of all the people with the know-how, the insider understanding, the love and passion for this work. And keeping those out only for the blood money they can leech from us because they know they’re the ones with all the cards.

Now some of us have already cancelled their subscriptions, others are considering it and some of us are afraid of losing what  good we can watch to throw the slop that they’re serving us now back at them. But whatever camp you fall into, this disgrace cannot stand. Any what is their weak spot? OOONA. The cheap option, run by people with not a shred of love for anime between them or all the third parties they sublet the job too.

Poorly timed, poorly arranged, no typesetting whatsoever and what do you get? Something totally unwatchable or inaccessible to all kinds of viewer. And this is a company who’s sole purpose is to provide a quality anime watching service - this practice of cutting corners to line their pockets and expecting us to lap it up anyway is more than a disgrace, it’s something these people should be utterly ashamed of! 

It’s disgusting, it’s pathetic and, even more infuriating, it’s only MARGINALLY cheaper than letting actual anime fans do it! The idiocy of these decisions has my brain locked in the paralysing deadlock of fury and total bewilderment at why these MORONS think anyone will stick around if they go through with this. They will kill anime if they aren’t stopped. Well, guess what, you corporate philistines? Here I am, standing in your wretched way. Life may be so easy for you but it’s a damn sight harder for us little people, but you can be damn bloody sure that you will not get past us with enough pushback.

So people, let’s tell em. To hell with OOONA, return all the loyal fan-subbers and their Aigisub magic back into your arsenal. Or watch this golden goose you are so convinced you’re cherishing starve to death while you’re basking in its magnificence. See how far you get, hmm?
