Stop Big Tech from censoring the American people!

"No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider. No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be held liable on account of—(A)any action voluntarily taken in good faith to restrict access to or availability of material that the provider or user considers to be obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable, whether or not such material is constitutionally protected; or (B)any action taken to enable or make available to information content providers or others the technical means to restrict access to material described in paragraph (1)."(https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/47/230

Under section 230 of the Communication Decency Act companies such as Facebook and Twitter were able to enlarge. They were never held liable for things posted. Companies like The New York Post are. The caveat is the NYP can decide what is posted within their company whereas Big Tech companies cannot. NYP is a publisher Twitter and Facebook are not. It is correct to state that Facebook and Twitter ARE NOT violating the first amendment as they are private entities, but they should be held accountable for being a publisher if they decide that is what they want. Whether you love Donald Trump or not banning the 45th President of the United States is setting a dangerous presidance. What happens when your opinion becomes too far right for Big Tech? We are giving far too much leeway and power to these companies. Amazon, Google, and Apple have effectively banned Parler from existing on the basis they "violated [their] terms of service". They colluded to ban Parler for having the audacity to be right leaning. The goal of this petition is to end the suppression of the 70 plus million Americans who voted for Trump or take away the section 230 protection from these companies.
