The Issue

Every day, we witness the heartbreaking reality of Black children being subject to unjust violence, with no accountability. It is beyond time to shed meaningless respectability politics and focus on what truly matters: protecting Black Lives. This isn't about decorum or being polite—it’s about survival and justice.

Our country stands by as systemic police brutality continues to strip away the safety and innocence of Black children. This is a national crisis. The authorities have yet to show the necessary urgency and dedication to comprehensively address this problem. Until Black Lives are genuinely respected and protected, we cannot pay heed to conventional norms that distract from the urgent need for reform.

I urge everyone to recognize the severity of this issue. We must demand substantive changes within our police systems, starting with immediate accountability measures, thorough re-evaluation of officers on duty, and implementation of anti-racist training programs. These actions are vital to ensure a safer future for our children and communities.

We can no longer afford to wait when lives are on the line. Stand with us in calling for an end to police brutality against Black children. Let’s push for a future where respect for Black Lives comes first, today and every day.

Please sign this petition to demand immediate reform and accountability in policing across the United States. Together, we can make a change that ensures justice and safety for all Black children.
