Since March 2, no humanitarian aid or food supplies have been allowed into Gaza. Over one million displaced Palestinians — including thousands of babies and children — are not only enduring the devastation of war, but also catastrophic starvation and deprivation. Doctors report operating without anaesthesia or basic medical supplies, performing surgeries and amputations under unthinkable conditions.  With Gaza 90% destroyed, this is not just a humanitarian crisis — it is a humanitarian catastrophe. Every hour without action to lift this unlawful blockade pushes the people deeper into irreversible tragedy. International aid trucks have been waiting at the border for two months, prevented from entering due to political decisions. The world is watching. Inaction in the face of such suffering is complicity. We, the undersigned, call on President Donald J. Trump to use his authority and unique influence to demand that Israel immediately open Gaza’s borders to food and aid.  In October 2024, President Biden was able to pressure the Israeli government to lift their blockade and allow humanitarian aid into Gaza. This demonstrated that U.S. leadership can directly influence Israeli policy when used with resolve. We believe President Trump can do the same — and more — to help save lives now.  This is not about politics. This is about humanity.
