My experience with the platform was mired by a series of exploitative practices. I was sent $2 orders for distances exceeding 10 miles, given the obvious unsafe expectation to handle my phone while driving, and then held to a ruthlessly unforgiving 90% completion rate. The most disturbing part? In less than an hour of falling short of their imposed standard, I was abruptly deactivated.

Unfortunately, my story is not unique. There is a systemic issue within Doordash: unfair wages misaligned with the task requirements, deceptive hourly rates, immediate deactivation without comprehensive assessment and potential discrimination. Ample evidence exists of Doordash engaging in these practices across numerous online forums and social media.
