End automatic pension re-enrollment every 3 years

End automatic pension re-enrollment every 3 years
The Issue
PLEASE SHARE: I am writing to express my frustration and urge support to end the practice of automatic re-enrollment into workplace pensions. I meticulously research my financial decisions. After concluding that my financial growth would be far superior outside of a work pension plan, I made a conscious and well-informed decision to leave it.
However, I find myself faced with the needless ordeal of being automatically re-enrolled into the same work pension plan every three years that I've chose to leave where I had 5 months of hassle & stress & been messed around & fobbed off on the phone, by email, ignored my written letters, my work pension did everything to keep my money & make it almost impossible to get my money transferred & were even denying I had opted out months after I had opted out & had all the proof. I got the Ombudsman in.
It is utterly unacceptable that an adult's clear decision regarding personal finance can be disregarded in such a manner, forcing them into a cyclical pattern of opting out.
The current system dishonours the autonomy of individuals who meticulously plan their financial future; it undermines their decisive action and propels them into unnecessary complexity and distress. The automatic re-enrollment process places undue burden on individuals who have already made a clear choice, respecting their own financial strategy.
Ending automatic re-enrollment every three years would respect the financial decisions of adults, alleviate undue stress. There needs to be a reform in the practice to ensure that once an individual chooses to leave a pension scheme, their decision is final and not reversibly subject to automatic policies.
Join me in calling for an end to this current re-enrollment policy that unnecessarily consumes time, energy, and peace of mind. Let’s urge the authorities and responsible entities to respect financial freedom and acknowledge individual choices. Sign this petition to bring about the necessary change in the pension re-enrollment policies, ensuring they are in line with the autonomy and rights of every individual.
Thank you for your time reading & feel free to share.
