End Animal Cruelty: Ensure Maximum Penalty for Repeat Offender Stevce Rajcinoski

The Issue

Convicted animal torturer and mutilator Stevce Rajcinoski is back in court Sept. 9, 2024.  Will he get another plea deal and not serve time?

You may remember him from his first arrest when he faced 11 counts of felony animal mutilation, 72 counts of animal neglect, 11 counts of practicing veterinary medicine without a license and one count of failing to register as a commercial breeder with the state.

Or, his second arrest when another 40+ dogs (dead & alive) were seized in similar circumstances while he was on probation for the first offense.

The heinous act of animal cruelty that has taken place in our community needs to be strongly addressed. Stevce Rajcinoski was convicted for animal mutilation, and as members of Northwest Indiana it left us feeling shaken and devastated by hearing the news of dead dogs found and surgical procedures such as c-sections being performed without a license.

Despite the conviction, the courts merely gave him the equivalent of a slap on the wrist – a decision that stands in stark contrast of the gravity of his actions.

Rajcinoski was so blatant in his efforts to continue this cruel and illegal dog breeding operation in pursuit of the almighty dollar, he began operating another puppy mill before his probation for the first offense had even ended in a direct slap in the face to the court that originally convicted him.

His repeated actions have shown this is not an isolated incident and dogs everywhere remain at risk. Fortunately, Lake County Animal Control found homes for the 100-plus animals that lived.  This process placed a massive burden on law enforcement, the facility and employees.

The real questions are: How many dogs did Stevce Rajcinoski kill in his quest to be an unlicensed breeder? And, How many more dogs will have to suffer and die at the hands of Stevce Rajcinoski in his quest to make money off of the misery of other living beings.

We cannot let those who commit such atrocities go unchecked.  It’s not enough to punish animal cruelty mildly, we must aim to eradicate it by demanding stricter regulations and harsher penalties.  This petition aims to influence the courts to reconsider their stance and ensure Stevce Rajcinoski receives a penalty commensurate with the severity of his actions.

Lend your voice to the innocent dogs who cannot speak for themselves.  Please sign this petition immediately before Stevce Rajcinoski is capable of continuing his menace on society.
