Candle light vigil in memory of millions of lives lost to 50 years old "FAILED" War on Drugs

Dear Comrades,

We are really grateful and would like to thank each & every one of you for signing this crucial petition whilst standing in a firm solidarity against the longest war ever fought in the modern history; the 50 years old  "INHUMANE & FAILED" War on Drugs (15 July1973-15 July 2023). 

Hence, tomorrow on 14th of July 2023 around 7:00 p.m., we are going to organize a "Candle light vigil" to remember and also to honor the millions of lives lost to this "bloody" war on drugs across the world. In doing so, we've chosen the symbolic place in Kathmandu; Freak Street-Basantapur to lit-up the candle and to bring-back the golden memory of Hippie Era in Nepal while listening to some of the Pro-cannabis speakers.

Since the President of the United States of America himself has recently pronounced the pardoning of all inmates jailed for minor Cannabis offences and for their compensation in his country, this has created a unique opportunity for us too to put our demands to the U.S. government and to the United Nations for ending 50 years old  FAILED "War on Drugs" and to compensate all individuals & communities affected by this unnecessary war. 

Therefore, we call upon all our friends, signatories & supporters of this petition who lives in & around the Kathmandu valley to attend this historic event and become a catalyst for change.
