Our first meeting will take place at 7pm this evening - please register and share: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/river-almond-action-group-raag-first-meeting-tickets-147822197171?fbclid=IwAR1ZAG6VkFBQ2H-0ehnBdcQYUozwtNj13lj3vRS7PMKthXkSl_ker18HsL0https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/.../river-almond-action
A freedom of information (FOI) request revealed that the rainfall data indicated an overall storm return period of approximately 1 in 4.7 years. Within this period there was a short duration on 5th December 2020 when the rainfall increased to 90mm/hr with a return period of 1 in 8.5 years.
An unremarkable storm but look at the impact on our river!
