As someone closely following the political landscape of this country, I have come to value Donald Trump's contribution to America. His presidency was characterised by strong will and determination to make America great again. However, there is a suggestion I personally hold that could enhance his image with a unique twist. 

I propose that Mr. Trump should grow a beard and cease the use of artificial tan. A well-groomed beard not only signals maturity, wisdom, and trustworthiness; it's also widely accepted across all cultures. According to research done by Dixson and Vasey (2012), both men and women perceive males with beards as older, stronger, and with high social status. In contrast, excessive usage of artificial tanning products has been linked to skin damage, premature ageing, and increased risk of skin cancer (The Skin Cancer Foundation).

The majority of our Presidents have been clean-shaven, but historically, some of the most revered — Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S Grant, and Rutherford B Hayes — have sported beards. To return to this style would visually root Trump in a tradition of strong, committed leaders in our country's history. Furthermore, taking steps away from artificial tans could inspire many in America to embrace their natural skin tones, fostering acceptance and setting a good example for young people.
