As an avid user of Trade Me, I frequently find myself blinded by the white light from their desktop website. This discomfort is not an issue when I navigate their app on my phone, as I utilize the Dark Mode feature. However, many times I prefer browsing on a larger screen and I feel as if I am forced to sacrifice my comfort for this. 

Trade Me has over 4 million users, has been around for ages now and I believe I am not alone in my struggle. In fact, according to a study by Nielsen Norman Group, dark mode interfaces can reduce eye strain in low-light conditions. We need a progressive platform that prioritizes user satisfaction and accessibility above all. We humbly urge Trade Me to extend the implementation of Dark Mode to their Desktop Website for the enhanced browsing experience of its numerous users.

PS I would also LOVE it if they kept our previous purchase data on the WEBSITE, why is this not just a standard feature? I can understand this being a thing back in early days Trade Me when they didn't have the infrastructure, but I dont think that argument really applies any more. If an online store that I used 1 time in 2001 can store my purchase history for 23 years, I think one of the most used websites in the country can handle it as well.
