There is a clear desire among students at Metea Valley High School for a Composition/Production Club. The Music department has always played an essential role in fostering the artistic talents of our students. Expanding the reach of music education to embrace composition and production could greatly benefit the students by providing them with new opportunities for creativity and learning. According to the National Association for Music Education, participating in music production and composition facilitates students' understanding of musical concepts, enhances their listening skills, and provides a platform for personal expression (source: National Association for Music Education). By creating a Composition/Production club, Metea Valley would be enriching its music program and offering a new creative avenue for its students.
