Disney has recently stopped production on treasure planet 2! Like so many others, I find Treasure Planet to be a cornerstone of my childhood memories, an incredible film that inspired and entertained. The story of young Jim Hawkins embarking on a transformative journey filled my young heart with both excitement and a sense of wonder. As an adult now, I hold onto the hope of experiencing this magic once more; and it is my dream to watch Treasure Planet 2 before my time comes to an end.

Disney's movie, Treasure Planet, released in 2002, was extraordinary in its animation and narrative. Despite its initial under-performance at the box office, it became a cult classic over time. Many fans, like me, consider it a masterpiece, something that should be continued. We are the audience asking for a sequel, cherishing the original despite its initial lukewarm reception.

Creating a sequel would both honor the original film and engage a new generation with a story that we know has the potential to excite, inspire, and teach. Contributing to cultural continuity, it could serve to bring past and future together, as well as continuing to entertain audiences of all ages.

Please join me in urging Disney to consider the production of Treasure Planet 2. It would not only appeal to nostalgia of fans but potentially bring new life to an underrepresented gem. Please sign this petition as a step towards seeing this dream come alive on screen once again.
