Term Limits, or service limits, are not currently written for members of the United States Congress.

By leaving this very important service unchecked by the great people of our nation a stagnant pool of “representatives” has maintained their presence in our politics and legislative body for far too long. In order to “right the ship” to remove career politicians from service before special interests can really cement a hold on elected leaders it is proposed that Term Limits be voted into law, through the amendment process. 

This petition to Congress will seek to limit the service of those in Congress to a maximum of 18 years. The makeup of this service being not defined by separation of service between the United States Senate or the House of Representatives, but rather in Total.

It is apparent that action must be taken now by We the People to enforce a new structure of limitation in our government to better serve us. Term Limits Now!
