Enable Petition Merging on Change.org: Unite Our Voices for Greater Impact

I've always believed in the power of collective voices. When we stand together, we can change the world. However, there's a significant hurdle we face on Change.org — the inability to merge petitions. This limitation is a cause for concern, as it prevents us from consolidating efforts and combining the voices rallying for the same cause.

In 2020 alone, a staggering 80 million people used Change.org to start or sign petitions (Data Source: Change.org). Now imagine if petitions fighting for the same cause could be merged into one. The impact would be magnified, the message amplified, and our fight for justice expedited.

Why This Matters to Me

Just recently, I came across so many petitions calling for improved gun safety measures, particularly focused on schools and public spaces. These petitions had anywhere from a few thousand, to a few hundred thousand supporters, all rallying around the same purpose. If these efforts could be merged into one unified campaign, their combined strength could easily reach millions of supporters! Imagine the power of a single petition with all these voices demanding action on gun safety. But right now, this isn’t possible—and it’s holding us back from making the collective impact we need on such an important issue.

Call to Action

We urge Change.org to implement a feature that allows petitions on the same issue to be merged. This simple change would enable us to have a greater impact and amplify the collective voice of millions.

Please sign this petition and join me in calling on Change.org's management to make this critical change. Let’s strengthen our collective authority and make positive change happen faster!
