The village of Manchester, Ohio is under siege. One of our elected officials, [Redacted], consistently undermines the spirit of our community with derogatory remarks and actions. As citizens of this village, we are deeply concerned about the impact this is having on our community's morale and unity.

[Redacted] behavior has been a source of constant distress for us. words not only degrade us as individuals but also tarnish the reputation of our beloved village. We believe that public officials should be held to a higher standard - they should serve as role models for their constituents and uphold the values that bind us together.

Unfortunately, under current legislation, we have no power to hold a recall election to remove from council position. This leaves us feeling helpless in face of an official who does not respect or represent us appropriately.

In many cities and villages across The State of Ohio and the United States of America, recall elections are allowed when elected officials fail to perform their duties responsibly or act against public interest (National Conference Of State Legislatures). We believe it's time for The Village of Manchester to join these states, cities and villages in empowering its citizens with this right.

We urge our village legislators to amend existing laws and allow recall elections in Manchester Village Council and Mayorship positions. It is crucial that we have leaders who respect their constituents and work towards improving life in our village rather than degrading it.
