I write this plea from personal experience and heartache. Having lived in Afghanistan, the harsh reality of children being deprived of their essential rights due to economic strain, poverty, or lack of familial support is not lost on me. Many children are forced into labor from a tender age, with dreams of sitting in a classroom and expanding their imaginations stripped from them.

This is not merely an agenda, it is an appeal for humanity. Education is the foundation for any prosperous society and the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Without it, we fail an entire generation and, in turn, our future. It is my sincere belief that we can make a difference, that we can break down the barriers of deprivation and replace them with opportunities for growth and learning.
