Currently, health trusts are using the existing laws to their own advantage, creating a "pick and mix" lottery regarding who they choose to help. This needs to change.

We aim to amend the legislation for all carers in Northern Ireland, ensuring that people like Ellie have the right to choose their care without being restricted to certain services. By doing so, we can prevent them from becoming effectively housebound. Our loved ones deserve better, and together, we can make this happen.
