صرختنا إلى قداسة البابا فرنسيس...

لا يُصدّق!

إنتخاب سلطة رهبانية على الرغم من فسادها الواضح

إنها الأولى!

في تاريخ الرهبانية اللبنانية المارونية:

مسؤولون قدامى متّهمون بالفساد، تمٌ إعادة إنتخابهم أو تعيينهم في مناصب عليا.

إنها الأولى!

في تاريخ جميع الرهبانيات،

منذ تأسيسها إلى يومنا هذا.

فضيحة لا يمكن تصوّرها أو تفسيرها، إختلاس 40 مليون دولار 

من حسابات جامعة الكسليك، وكم من الملايين في المراكز الأخرى؟ في أي قرن تعيش كنيستنا؟ هل كانت تعيش القرون الوسطى فسادآ كهذا؟ إلى من يتوجه المرء عند فُقدان كامل الثقة في المسؤولين الفاتيكانيين الذين يحكمون الكنيسة.

إنتخابات غير بريئة،

تورط كاردينال وسفير بابوي

في صيف 2022، جرت إنتخابات داخلية في الرهبانية اللبنانية المارونية.

المنتخبون الجدد ليسوا جدداً...

الفائزون هم متورطون أربعة في عملية الإختلاس: إثنان من رؤساء الجامعة السابقين، أمين عام سابق ومدير مالي سابق للجامعة. هم الآن يشكّلون المجلس العام الجديد للرهبانية والذي يتألف من خمسة أعضاء.

متورطون أيضاً ولكن أعيد تعيينهم: رئيس الجامعة الحالي والمدير المالي.

هذه الاستمرارية ما هي إلا دليل على تواطؤ الكاردينال ليوناردو ساندري، رئيس مجمع الكنائس الشرقية، الذي رفض أخذ الاختلاس على محمل الجدّ بالرغم من المستندات الموثقة التي قُدِّمت للفاتيكان.

لم يتمّ إرسال أي وفد من الفاتيكان للتحقيق في عملية الاختلاس،

لم يُطلب أي تدقيق مالي في الوقت التي كانت فيه الجناية خطيرة.

من الواضح أن الكاردينال كان يقيم علاقات صداقة مع هؤلاء المسؤولين. وكان كل طرف يجد مصلحته الخاصة في هذه العلاقة

من له اذنان سامعتان!

كما لا يجب تجاهل الدور الذي لعبه السفير البابوي المونسنيور جوزيف سبيتري، الذي دعم السلطة السابقة حتى النهاية.

مستندةً إلى ماضيها العريق في الفساد

تتبنّى السلطة الجديدة موقفاً إنتقامياً على جميع الصعد:

·       تُقصي كل معارضيها، رهبانا أصحاب نزاهة عالية، وتفضّل رهبانآ شبانآ عملت على إفساد عقولهم وأفكارهم.

·       تنتقم من الذين شجبوا فسادها لأنها تعلم أنها قوية بدعم بعض أعضاء الكوريا الرومانية، أي مسؤولين في الفاتيكان.

·        تطرد من وظيفته من يجرؤ على كشف إختلاسها لتتمكّن من الاستمرار في إخفاء جناياتها.

إنها تحتقر

وصية محبة القريب كما إنها تتجاهل وصية محبة الأعداء

هل هكذا تكون تلامذة يسوع؟

مقابل هذه السلطة المستبدة

وفي مواجهة بعض من أعضاء الكوريا الفاتيكانية التي تدعم الفساد والديكتاتورية والانتقام في المؤسسات الدينية،  ومن ثمٌ ترفض مساعدة البابا فرنسيس في محاربته أمراض الفساد والاختلاس.

صرختنا موجّهة إلى البابا نفسه:

·       هلّا قمت بواجب إنقاذ وحماية الضعفاء.

·       أبعد عن كنيسة المسيح أولئك الرهبان الذين يسمحون بشراء أنفسهم من أجل المال.

·       عيّن محقّقين واتّخذ العقوبات اللازمة.

·       كلٌف المونسنيور كلوديو غوغيروتي، الذي عينته مؤخراً عميداً للكنائس الشرقية، بملف هذه الرهبانية.

معاً لمحاربة الفساد وطغاة هذا العالم، بخاصة المسؤولين في المؤسسات الدينية.

معاً يمكننا جعل الخير يتغلّب على الشر.

رجالاً ونساءً أصحاب النوايا الحسنة،

 إمضوا هذه العريضة.

Election d’une autorité religieuse

en dépit de sa flagrante corruption

C’est une PREMIERE !

Dans l’histoire de l’Ordre Libanais Maronite :

d’anciens responsables accusés de corruption 

sont réélus ou reconduits à des postes supérieurs.

C’est une PREMIERE !

dans l’histoire de tous les Ordres religieux,

depuis leur fondation jusqu’à aujourd’hui.

Un scandale inconcevable et inexplicable !

40 millions de dollars de détournement de fonds

Découverts dans les comptes de l’Université de Kaslik.

Et combien de millions dans les autres centres ?

En quel siècle vit notre Eglise ?

Le Moyen-Age était-il aussi corrompu ?

A qui s’adresser si toute confiance est à jamais perdue dans les prélats 

qui gouvernent l’Eglise ?

Elections partisanes, 

un cardinal et un nonce impliqués

A l’été 2022, des élections internes ont lieu au sein de l’Ordre Libanais Maronite. 

Les nouveaux élus ne sont pas nouveaux…

Deux ex-recteurs, un ancien secrétaire général et un ancien directeur des finances de ladite Université, impliqués. Ils forment cependant le nouveau conseil de l’Ordre constitué lui-même de cinq membres.

Impliqués eux aussi mais reconduits à leur poste l’actuel recteur de Kaslik et le directeur des finances.

Cette continuité s’explique par la complicité du Cardinal Leonardo SANDRI, 

Préfet de la Congrégation pour les Églises orientales,

qui refuse de prendre au sérieux la fraude malgré les documents certifiés.

Aucune délégation vaticane n’a été envoyée 

pour enquêter sur les détournements de fonds, 

aucun audit n’a été demandé

alors que le délit est très grave. 

Il est désormais clair que le Cardinal tissait des liens d’amitié avec ces responsables.

Une entraide mutuelle où chacun trouvait son intérêt. 

A bon entendeur !

Il ne faut pas ignorer non plus le rôle joué par l’ancien nonce apostolique, 

Mgr Joseph SPITERI, qui a soutenu l’autorité en place jusqu’au bout.

Forte de son passé glorieux en corruption, 

la nouvelle autorité adopte une attitude vindicative sur tous les plans :

Ø    Elle écarte tous ses opposants, hommes d’une grande honnêteté, et favorise de jeunes moines dont elle a perverti la pensée. 

Ø  Elle se venge de ceux qui ont dénoncé sa corruption car elle se sait forte du soutien des membres de la curie romaine.

Ø  Elle licencie ceux qui osent dévoiler ses fraudes pour pouvoir continuer à cacher ses délits.

Elle méprise le commandement 

de l’amour du prochain, de l’amour de l’ennemi 

Est-elle encore disciple de Jésus Christ ?

Face à ce pouvoir absolu, 

face aux membres de la Curie romaine 

qui soutient la corruption, 

la dictature et la vengeance 

au sein des institutions religieuses,

refusant d’aider le pape François 

dans sa lutte contre les maladies de la corruption et de la fraude.

Notre cri s’adresse au pape lui-même :

·       Faites-vous un devoir de porter et de défendre la fragilité des faibles.

·       Ecartez de l’Eglise du Christ les religieux qui, par amour de l’argent, se laissent acheter.

·       Nommez des enquêteurs et prenez les sanctions qui s’imposent.

·       Chargez Mgr Claudio GUGEROTTI, que vous avez récemment nommé Préfet pour les Eglises Orientales, du dossier de cette congrégation.

Ensemble luttons contre la corruption, contre les tyrans de ce monde, surtout ceux qui exercent dans les institutions religieuses.

Ensemble nous pouvons faire que le bien l’emporte sur le mal.

UNBELIEVABLE !

Election of a religious authority

despite its blatant corruption

It's a first !

In the history of the Lebanese Maronite Order:

former officials accused of corruption

are re-elected or reappointed to higher positions.

It's a first !

in the history of all religious orders,

from their founding to the present day.

An inconceivable and inexplicable scandal!

$40 million in embezzlement

Discovered in the accounts of the University of Kaslik.

And how many millions in the other centers?

In what century does our Church live?

Was the Middle Ages so corrupt?

Who to contact if all trust is lost forever in the prelates

who govern the Church?

partisan elections,

a cardinal and a nuncio involved

In the summer of 2022, internal elections take place within the Lebanese Maronite Order.

The newly elected are not new...

Two ex-rectors, a former secretary general and a former finance director of the said University, involved. However, they form the new Council of the Order, which is itself made up of five members.

Also involved but reappointed the current rector of Kaslik and the director of finance.

This continuity is explained by the complicity of Cardinal Leonardo SANDRI,

Prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches,

who refuses to take fraud seriously despite certified documents.

No Vatican delegation was sent

to investigate embezzlement,

no audit was requested

when the offense is very serious.

It is now clear that the Cardinal was forging bonds of friendship with these officials.

A mutual help where everyone found his interest.

He that has ears to hear… !

Nor should we ignore the role played by the former Apostolic Nuncio,

Bishop Joseph SPITERI, who supported the authority in place until the end.

With its glorious past in corruption,

the new authority adopts a vindictive attitude on all counts:

She dismisses all her opponents, men of great honesty, and favors young monks whose mind she has perverted.

She takes revenge on those who have denounced her corruption because she knows she is strong in the support of the members of the Roman curia.

She fires those who dare to expose her frauds so that she can continue to hide her crimes.

She despises the command :

love of neighbour, love of the enemy

Is she still a follower of Jesus Christ?

Faced with this absolute power,

facing the members of the Roman Curia

who supports corruption,

dictatorship and revenge

within religious institutions,

refusing to help Pope Francis

in His fight against the diseases of corruption and fraud.

Our cry goes to the pope himself:

Make it your duty to carry and defend the fragility of the weak.

Remove from the Church of Christ those religious who, for the love of money, allow themselves to be bought.

Appoint investigators and take the necessary sanctions.

Charge Bishop Claudio GUGEROTTI, whom you recently appointed Prefect for the Oriental Churches, with the dossier of this congregation.

Together let's fight against corruption, against the tyrants of this world, especially those who work in religious institutions.

Together we can make the good outweigh the bad.

Men and Women of good will,
