Emanuel OB/GYN & Emanuel Medical Center's Obstetrical Unit are the only ones in the county. Women would have to travel approximately 45 minutes to the nearest hospital in labor, to give birth & could be detrimental in the instance of emergency. Dr. Banks-Jackson & the nurses in the maternity ward provide excellent care!
