Children should not be taught to torture animals! Tell the NYS DEC: NO HUNTING and TRAPPING CLASSES FOR CHILDREN! Teaching violence toward animals leads to indifference toward suffering and the acts are one step away from violence toward humans. In the midst of this global EXTINCTION CRISIS we must stop hunting and trapping which is known to be DRIVING SPECIES TO EXTiNCTION. Trapping kills non-targeted and endangered/at risk species, pets, even children and adults. Hunting accidents, severe injuries and death are epidemic and inherent to the industry. Only 4% of the public engage in hunting. Why is the NYS DEC funding hunting/trapping programs for 4% of the population? THIS MUST STOP, AND WE MUST TEACH ANIMAL PROTECTION, NOT TORTURING, HUNTING AND TRAPPING.
