🐾 Let Elton Ride with Pride – Say YES to K9 CAB Plates! 🐾

I recently bought a Volkswagen Caddy and turning it into the ultimate comfort ride for my best mate, Elton the Staffy. He’s not just a dog, he’s my family, my therapy, and the one who got me through recovery after major surgery.

To celebrate our bond, I applied and paid for personalised plates: K9 CAB.

Simple. Fun. Harmless.

But my request was rejected.

The reason?

PPQ must consider how personalised plates may be viewed by all members of the community.

Yet thousands of other pet-loving plates and phrases are already out there. Why block something that simply celebrates the joy of dogs?

Today I saw Wine 4T and Tweaker as number plates, so it’s ok to promote drinking irresponsibly and referencing drung usage (tweaking) but not harmless K9 Cabs.

This isn’t just about plates. It’s about fairness, freedom of expression, and honouring the animals who mean the world to us. Elton has his own Instagram (@elton.approved), his own custom ride, and now he deserves plates that match.

💡 Imagine the smiles on the road when people see “K9 CAB” cruising by with Elton in the back. It’s positive, joyful, and a celebration of our bond.

Please help us appeal this decision and show that dog lovers stand together.
