Ellesmere Park uniform rules to not require logos and objectification

Ellesmere Park uniform rules to not require logos and objectification
The Issue
We have recently been informed that Ellesmere Park High School uniform from September will be requiring logos on school jumpers, school PE kit and a new blazer; we know that a lot of people in our school won’t be able to afford this as our schools area is dominantly council owned.
This petition is in order to stop this rule being enforced as we can see that this is going to effect a lot of people for the worse, we don’t want people to have to feel ashamed about not being able to afford this new uniform and i think this is especially important that the school are vibrant inclusive and proud (just like their slogan).
Some other of its new rules are not very inclusive either, i’ve perceived it as a bit sexist, the new PE rules state you can’t have cycling shorts (how are cycling shorts different to normal shorts?) and that leggings must be squat proof (i don’t fully understand what’s meant by this , aren’t all leggings squat proof?) and they’ve also said that skirts must be knee length which i would see as objectification of women and i would like to know why there are so many more restrictions on the girls uniform.
So if you agree with our motives then please sign this petition it would mean a great deal for people in our school who cannot afford these new requirements and also help get rid of some sexist messages. Signing this petition would help the students and their family’s of our school community feel accepted.
