Let's get the Freedom Dividend / UBI on all Democratic Party candidate platforms!

Andrew Yang was a 2020 candidate for the Democratic Party, with a rare trait in politics: offering sensible, elegant solutions to 21st century problems, with real data and individual liberty in mind. The centerpiece of his platform was a Freedom Dividend (a universal basic income) of $1000/month for every American citizen. His idea for its implementation and funding were a major step in the right direction. Unfortunately he has now ended his campaign.

The platform held a lot in common with platform of The New Physiocratic League and their book that lay its foundations. Although Yang did not publicly state discuss some of his instinct towards Georgism, there has been a lot of overlap between the two movements and have been suggestions that he was a supporter.

Let's work together and call on the current Democratic candidates to add a Freedom Dividend / UBI to the top of their platforms.

Reading into LVT might also be of some interest to candidates and voters.
