We will be  the users of O2NL, a key transportation infrastructure that would significantly impacting our daily life due to the tolls imposed. Like us , there will be thousands of individuals who will depend on O2NL for their daily commute and the toll will be an undue economic burden for us.

O2NL, which originally promised to simplify our commute, has instead turned into an additional expense, causing financial distress for many middle and low-income families who use it as a primary commuting route.

According to a study conducted on road tolls by the Dutch Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis, tolls disproportionately impact people with lower incomes and those who cannot avoid the toll road due to the nature of their work or residence (Dutch Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis, 2018). This toll for O2NL is similarly unfair and regressive.

As users and beneficiaries of O2NL, we call on government authorities to eliminate these tolls. Commute routes like the O2NL should aim to bridge communities together, not erect financial barriers. We demand equal access to transportation infrastructure without this undue financial burden. Please sign this petition and fight for a toll-free O2NL.
