As a community, we in the Eagles Rest neighborhood of Richland County in Chapin, SC, are appealing for the removal of the current HOA board members. This petition stems from a growing frustration with the board’s lack of transparency in the management of funds (competitive bids on service/repairs, etc...), and an evident disregard for the homeowners' best interests. We have noticed that our board has been sidestepping our concerns, often making decisions without adequate consultation with the homeowners.

Adding insult to injury, the board members have stated that the Property Management Group works for the board members and seems that ReImagine intentionally ignores the members.  Our voices, as legal homeowners and concerned community members, are being silenced.

 Both these reasons alone constitute grounds for their removal. But in addition, there is a gross negligence in their duty to abide by the South Carolina Code of Laws under the Nonprofit Corporation Act. This violation is not just improper, but also illegal.


We look to make our community a place of common unity where decisions are made through mutual understanding and consent. Having a responsive and accountable HOA board is a critical part of that objective.

The time has come to eliminate the current HOA board members and to elect a new board that will genuinely represent us, the homeowners of Eagles Rest. Please help us by signing this petition to remove the current HOA board members.
