On behalf of 172-17 Jamaica Ave, Jamaica  NY 11432. The elevator has not been in service since July 12th, 2022 to present. There is only 1 elevator in this building. The reason for this petition is because of elderly people living in the building, disabled individuals, people in wheel chairs, we can't go to the laundry,  we can't go food shopping because its to much to carry upstairs, we can't go  to therapy, Dr. appointments or any other place. Our packages can't be delivered to us if they are real heavy because they refuse to carry it upstairs because of the buildings negligence to repair our elevator.
