Save the El Toro skate spot
The Issue
The famous El Toro skate spot was demolished in 2019, marking the end of an era in skateboarding history. It was the sight of some of the gnarliest skate tricks ever done and attempted. Skaters like Nick Merlino, TJ Rodgers, Aaron "Jaws" Homoki, Jamie Foy, Adrien Bulard, Dave Bachinsky, Heath Kirchart, Vincent Milou, Nyjah Houston and Clive Dixson landed some of their most memorable tricks there, all for it to be torn down.
I have made this petition to demand that the spot be rebuilt. We can't just disrespect the skating history that has taken place there; the spot can't just stay a slab of dirt.
If the spot is not rebuilt, those wonderful memories will be forgotten. This is important to me because so many historic skate spots have been torn down, all skaters ask for is to get one spot back in the place it originally was.
