Most Religious Bodies in Nigeria with dubious  NGOs under the umbrella body of TELPECON, have been promising to source for grants from international Communities and Agencies for the purpose of alleviating the ravaging poverty in the country.

They made millions of beneficiaries to pay monies to them through the individual NGOs for different registrations, training and other services. Each individual was made to pay a minimum of N40,000 with a promise to deliver on the promises of securing these grants from the United States of America, Australia and Singapore.

Its pertinent to know that these NGOs are owned by various Churches spread all over The Six geo-political zones of the country. These preachers over the years continually promise these innocent citizens of a better life upon them receiving the grants. Unknowingly, these where all scheme by these so-called Men of God to enrich themselves like the political class at the detriment of the poor citizens.

Many innocent citizens have lost their lives, properties and dignity as a result of these criminal minded preachers. The citizens are planning a Nationwide protest to stop these criminal acts from continually killing the citizens.

TELPECON has done more damage than they could ever repair in our lives. We have suffered enough in the hands of the government and now, these religious leaders are having their share of our lives.
