Ellen Rae Greenberg was a 1st grade teacher at Juniata Park Academy in Philadelphia, PA. She was a vibrant, passionate teacher, loved by all who knew her.

January 26th, 2022 is the 11th anniversary of Ellen Rae Greenberg’s unfortunate death.  Ellen Greenberg was murdered by way of 20 stab wounds, with 10 alone to the back of Ellen’s neck.

After initially ruling Ellen’s death to be a homicide, the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Officer, at the insistence of the Philadelphia Police, suspiciously reversed itself weeks later and declared Ellen’s death to be a suicide.  Top forensic pathologists all agree the case is highly suspicious of murder. 

Josh Shapiro, the Pennsylvania Attorney General, is the only person with the power to re-open Ellen’s case.  Josh Shapiro has continuously refused to do and even went as far as fabricating that the Attorney General’s Office conducted a “thorough” investigation. 

Josh Shapiro is planning to run for Governor of Pennsylvania in 2022 – our hope, as educators in Pennsylvania, is everyone can persuade Josh Shapiro that he cannot sweep Ellen’s case under the rug as he seeks a higher office.  Please sign our petition and please reach out to Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro to ask him to re-open the case.
