Our goal with this project is to raise money which will translate directly into an education for children whom otherwise would not receive one. Unfortunately, the cost to attend school is prohibitive for some, thus leading to little education, a lack of social interaction with peers, many psychological development problems, etc...

Many children from Rafiki community are born into cyclical situations of extreme poverty, broken or non-existant families, rampant HIV/AIDS (1 in 8 people in Kenya are HIV+), alcohol/drug addiction, abuse, crime, etc... In order to break the cycle, children need to be given a chance to have a purpose in life, to succeed on their own merits, to achieve their dreams. Only with education's direct and indirect benefits can a child hope to achieve these goals.
